Really vibing to this one today.
Best Ride Ever
Just got back from the best training ride of my life.
60 miles.
Perfect weather.
Everything Everything/The Weeknd on the iPod.
Worked on the s-pattern sprint.
Finally broke-in my new straps.
New Rando was skidding so smoothly.
Got the pot-hole bunny hops dialed.
Saw a Triumph Scrambler; dope.
Crossed paths with a roadie around mile 40 at the battery.
Chased down said roadie.
Doubled back at the west-end.
Paced beside said roadie and said, “Hey, how’s it going.”
He forced out a “hey,” then looked away.
Promptly dropped said roadie.
Perfect timing at Market/East Bay light; sprinted through.
Skitched a Ford Ranger from Market St. to Harris Teeter.
Passed the same roadie on Radcliffe.
Waved; got ignored; called him a douche.
He turned around.
Dropped him a second time on King St.
Rolled it home to a quiet apartment.
I couldn’t ask for a better ride.
LIFER
This is going to become a new thigh tattoo.
So I’ve recently been turned on to LOW bicycles.
From my understanding, they’re handmade by this guy ^^^ in SF.
From the looks of it, he’s doing these frames right.
They’re light, tight, and fast as hell.
It can’t hurt business to have Massan repping them in BKLN either.
East Coast/West Coast, these are solid bikes.
Support frame builders, good ones are hard to come by.

This is a memorial race for Carl. It would have been his 30th Birthday. It’s being held in Charlotte, NC.
